The Educational Foundation of CCAC wanted
to increase the recognition of the College as a
credible institution where high-achieving students could begin their college careers. CCAC contracted with McMahon & Cardillo to develop and implement a high visibility fund-raising event that would help the Foundation achieve its goal.

McMahon & Cardillo proposed An Illumination of
Legends in Leadership, an event which would honor
the men and women who have been instrumental in the
development of the College. Proceeds from the event
would fund Leadership, Excellence and Academic
Dedication (L.E.A.D.) scholarships, competitive
awards for two years of all expenses for academically
gifted students.

The first Legends event was held in May 1998.
An Illumination of Legends in Leadership has
grown to become the most visible and highly attended
annual fund-raising event for the Foundation.
