Park Chairman Jim Broadhurst is often asked to speak at community
events. His style is conversant and relaxed, and he likes his content
to be compelling and informative, often
including stories from his personal experiences.
When writing speeches for Jim, McMahon &
Cardillo spends time meeting with him to
understand his objectives for each speech.
Among the speeches we've collaborated on are
the 2000 commencement speech for Robert
Morris College and an acceptance speech when
Jim received an honorary doctorate from Robert
Morris in 2001. Each speech was recognized by
the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Public Relations
Society of America with its highest honor, the
Renaissance Award.
